Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance of Georgia met Eugenue Zhukov, Director of the Central and West Asia Regional Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on March 20.
The dignitaries reviewed the long-standing cooperation between Georgia and ADB, as well as future plans.
The significant role of ADB in Georgia’s economic, social and institutional development was highlighted.
The meeting also covered opportunities for financing new infrastructure and environmental projects of national importance.
Lasha Khutsishvili expressed hope that the cooperation between Georgia and ADB would continue actively in line with the approved 2024-2028 strategy.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, was also attended by Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia and Lesley Bearman Lahm, Country Director for Georgia within the Central and West Asia Department of the ADB along with other delegation members.
