Parents of first-graders can purchase school uniforms starting today at designated retail outlets or online via formebi.emis.ge. The online platform allows parents and legal guardians to order uniforms and have them delivered to their homes by Georgian Post.
The platform provides information on uniform models, prices and sizes, as well as available bank offers and the locations of retail outlets. It is operated by the Education Management Information System (EMIS) under the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth.
Education Minister Gela Mikadze said participating banks are offering cashback programs, allowing families to purchase the uniforms at a lower effective price. According to the minister, the uniform pricing is not profit-oriented.
Parents who cannot purchase the uniforms by September 14, or who need additional items, will be able to order them exclusively online via formebi.emis.ge from September 15.
