The financial corporation ING published research and according to it, air ticket prices in Europe are significantly higher than inflation, the growth made up 15% y-o-y.
The ING report also predicts that the number of passengers will surpass the pre-pandemic level of 2019 at the expense of the European Championships and Olympics in 2024.
This is added by aircraft grounding due to problems with the A320 Neo's engines. However, there are delays on Boeing's side as well, which are related to lower-than-expected rates of aircraft production.
