Foreign Ministry Transferred For Further Management The Leuville Estate Project To The Georgian Ministry of Culture

The Georgian Foreign Ministry transferred for further management the Leuville Estate Project to the Georgian Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs, at an organizational meeting of the Leuville Governing Board of the Leuville Georgian Academy.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimer Konstantinidi. The Vice Prime Minister/Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, Minister of Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs, Tea Tsulukiani, Board members and invited guests.


On 27 June 2021 The Vice Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, David Zalkaliani and the Minister of Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs, Tea Tsulukiani visited the Leuville-sur-Orge commune where the presentation of the Orangery Project and a meeting of the the Leuville Governing Board were held. The Georgian Foreign Ministry has led the designing/implementation of building/rehabilitation works since 2017.

The first part of the works, including the landscaping of about 150 square metres of the Orangery area has been completed.

The second part of the works envisages the rehabilitation of Leuville Chateau and other facilities, which is due for completion for 2024. Leuville Georgian Academy, museum, archive and library, conference hall, Mediatheque, Georgian corner comprising Georgian Oda-house, vineyard, Qvevri and other wine appurtenances.
