According to Business Association of Georgia (BAG), in the third quarter of 2020 businesses view 4 factors as the most deterring to doing business in Georgia.
These are: (1) lack of demand on products and services; (2) barriers related to the rule of law and administrative obstacles; (3) lack of professionals and (4) limited access to finance.
The first factor which has affected 68% of businesses polled – BAG explains – has become especially acute during the pandemic since March 2020. According to BAG, this share is up from just 16% last year.
