In Rustavi, a modern residential complex is being built to house displaced families in line with contemporary standards.
According to the Ministry of Health, the four new buildings will provide fully renovated apartments for 800 displaced families. The project also includes a stadium, playgrounds, and exercise areas within the complex. The construction is funded by the state budget, with a total cost of GEL 80,971,596.
“The Displaced Persons Agency is actively evaluating applications submitted by families wishing to move into the complex. Each family is assigned a preliminary score according to the law, and after assessment, the commission determines which families will be eligible for relocation,” the ministry stated.
The construction progress was reviewed on-site by Giorgi Tsagareishvili, Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs, and Davit Kaikatsishvili, Director of the Displaced Persons Agency.
