Georgia exported record-high number of mobile phones in 2023. In the first 5M2023, the volume of imports has already exceeded USD 111 million, which was 54% more compared to the same period of the previous year.
Along with the increase in imports, the average price of a mobile phone has also grown, if it stood at USD 210 in 5M2022, while the average price amounted to USD 342 or GEL 890 in 5M2023.
The number of mobile phones purchased this year amounted to 324 thousand.
