Fuel prices in Georgia continued to rise in September, with branded filling-station networks increasing prices by 19–50 tetri over the past month. Gulf raised prices eight times, with gasoline increasing by 20–30 tetri and diesel by up to 50 tetri. Current prices include GEL 4.55 for G-Force Super, GEL 4.17 for G-Force Premium, GEL 3.89 for Euro Regular and GEL 4.87 for Euro Diesel, while G-Force Euro Diesel costs GEL 4.95.
Wissol adjusted prices nine times, raising gasoline prices by 23–31 tetri and diesel by 46–48 tetri. Connect increased prices by 20–45 tetri, while Socar raised gasoline and diesel prices by 19–48 tetri. Current prices include GEL 4.64 for Wissol A1 Super 100, GEL 3.94 for Euro Regular, GEL 4.89 for Euro Diesel, GEL 4.20 for Connect Super and GEL 4.65 for Connect Diesel.
At Rompetrol, current prices range from GEL 3.84 for Euro Regular to GEL 4.97 for Efix Euro Diesel. Lukoil sells Euro Regular for GEL 3.85 and Euro Diesel for GEL 4.82, while Portal lists Euro Regular at GEL 3.84 and Euro Diesel at GEL 4.79. Historical price data is not available on the websites of some companies, limiting month-to-month comparisons.
Fuel prices had declined from early June through early July amid stabilization in international oil prices, but began rising again in the second half of July as tensions in the Middle East intensified. The Union of Oil Products Importers expects further increases in fuel consumption and prices. Wissol CEO Vasil Khorava said the company is currently signing new supply contracts at higher prices, meaning current retail prices may not be final.
