Gakharia Initiated A Violent Confrontation - Irakli Kobakhidze

კობახიძე

On Wednesday, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze said that Giorgi Gakharia initiated a violent confrontation at the Sheraton hotel in Batumi.

Kobakhidze stated that when you are called a "spy" or a "Natsi," you have to endure.

"People often talk about the duty to endure in relation to politicians. I don't know how this applies to politicians, I have my own views on this, but when you are called a 'Natsi' and a 'spy,' you definitely have an obligation to endure. When they expose you and tell you that you are a 'Natsi,' you are a 'spy,' you must endure it. Gakharia couldn’t tolerate it and responded. He initiated a violent confrontation, which, of course, was not left unanswered. It is a natural, sad incident, but, naturally, it is understandable that there was a reaction to this. When you are a 'spy' and when you are a 'Natsi,' you have a duty to endure," Kobakhidze stated.
