Giorgi Gakharia, the candidate for the Prime Minister of Georgia, addresses the Parliament with a new initiative to pass the Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) on the legislative packages initiated by the Parliament. He said this while answering the questions of the deputies in the parliament.
He said the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) as a tool would be strengthened, and its use will be increasingly relevant.
"Let's pass the legislative innovations initiated by the parliament to the under RIA. I think it will be fair," the prime ministerial candidate said.
At present, regulatory impact assessment is only required on government-initiated bills. This document studies the impact of the bill's adoption on various areas, such as the economy.
