No parliamentary committee or faction requested that an official attend a committee hearing between July 1 and September 30, 2026. No officials sought hearings on their own initiative during the same period, according to a report presented by David Matikashvili, Chair of Parliament’s Procedural Issues Committee.

Presenting the report, prepared under Article 165 of Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, Matikashvili said that none of the committees had decided to invite an official to a hearing, and no parliamentary faction had requested an official’s mandatory attendance.

He added that no official covered by Article 165 had approached a parliamentary committee to request a hearing during the reporting period. Matikashvili said the process would have been more active if both parliamentary committees and officials had shown greater interest.

Under Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, committees must submit information on officials’ attendance at and participation in hearings to the Procedural Issues Committee within five days of the end of every third month of the calendar year.
