The government plans to submit 65 bills to Parliament during the 2026 autumn session, according to its legislative activity plan. The Economy Ministry accounts for the largest share, with 22 bills.
The economic agenda includes changes related to pensions, investment funds, auto insurance, investment protection, state property privatization and public procurement. Legislative amendments are also planned for the energy, railway, tourism, postal and electronic communications sectors.
Agriculture and food-related regulations are also included, covering wine quality control, land and pasture management, pesticide regulation and the food supply chain. The Finance Ministry’s agenda includes amendments to the 2026 state budget and the draft 2027 state budget.
The remaining initiatives mainly concern education, environmental protection, defense, healthcare, culture and intellectual property. Several bills also aim to align legislation with EU standards, including in energy, railways, tourism and auto insurance.
