The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) has signed a commitment agreement with “Iveria France” LLC, (Lutecia chain stores), in order to protect consumer rights.
In accordance with the agreement signed between the GCCA and the trader, in order to eliminate the alleged violation of the law, the trader was instructed to:
- Revise the company's internal policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements;
- Develop and provide consumer information forms in Georgian, ensuring clarity, comprehensiveness, and accessibility, and display these forms prominently in all Lutecia stores;
- Clearly and understandably indicate service prices and unit prices.
In accordance with GCCA’s decision, the trader has been granted a one-month period to fulfill these obligations.
