Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder and Honorary Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party, met with Walid Abu Haya, Israel’s Ambassador to Georgia.
According to Georgian Dream’s press service, the meeting at party headquarters focused on robust bilateral cooperation and positive momentum across key sectors.
“The meeting emphasised the 26-century-long historic bond between Georgia and Israel, alongside the political relations built on the special friendship between the two nations,” the press office stated. “Attention was also drawn to the wider geopolitical landscape, with both sides reaffirming the critical role of diplomatic avenues in preserving peace and stability for the benefit of their respective peoples.”
Ivanishvili offered his best wishes to Ambassador Abu Haya for his tenure, as both figures expressed a mutual determination to further cement bilateral ties.
