The Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara applied to the Procurement Agency for simplified procurement. The purpose of the procurement is to carry out a marketing campaign in order to promote the Adjara region. The estimated cost of the purchase is GEL 4.6 million.
The document reads, that the allotted money for the promotion of Adjara will be spent on TV, online, outdoor and media advertising in the target countries and the sum amounts to GEL 3,572,000.
Advertising the tourist potential through various channels costs GEL 400 000.
In addition, organizing various events, performances, shows and other PR activities to stimulate domestic tourism will cost GEL 178,000.
GEL 99 000 is provided for organizing events, master classes, expeditions and various activities.
The budget of Adjara will have to spend GEL 150 000 on creating a new website for the region's tourist portal.
GEL 100,000 will be spent on the production of Georgia’s sports tourism promo video and 150,000 GEL on the printing of information brochures.
Adjara Department of Tourism and Resorts plans to carry out marketing activities from February 2022 to December 2022.
