The Roads Department of Georgia has announced a GEL 41.5 million tender for the rehabilitation of a 19-kilometer road section between Ananuri and Pasanauri.
The road begins south of the village of Ananuri, passes through the villages of Tsikhisdziri and Meneso, and ends northwest of the village of Chartali, near the bridge over the Khandos River. The route largely follows the shoreline of the Aragvi River.
According to the tender documentation, the upgraded road will be designed for a speed of 60 km/h, with a width of 8–9 meters.
The Roads Department specifies that bidders must demonstrate completion of similar works within the required reference period, with project experience valued at no less than 80% of the estimated cost of the current tender. Additionally, at least one completed contract must include similar work valued at no less than 20% of the estimated project cost.
Companies can submit their proposals until April 30.
