Economic Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili said Georgia and Armenia will see tangible results in their bilateral cooperation soon, following a meeting with Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan in Yerevan. They discussed economic partnerships, trade, and investment opportunities.
The ministers highlighted Armenia as a key trade partner and emphasized untapped potential, particularly in exports and tourism. Expanding air connectivity and boosting Georgian product exports to Armenia were key topics.
Both sides stressed closer ties between business communities, agreeing to increase B2B meetings, trade missions, and business forums.
Georgia–Armenia trade has grown steadily, with Armenia ranking 9th in trade and 5th in exports for Georgia in 2025. Deputy Ministers Genadi Arveladze, Tamar Ioseliani, and Ambassador Giorgi Sharvashidze joined the Georgian delegation.
