Georgia Bought USD 90 MLN Worth Of Chocolate In 11M24

In January-November 2024, Georgia purchased 20,108 tons of chocolate and cocoa-containing ready-to-eat products worth $90 million.

According to official statistics, the value of imports increased by 18%, while the volume - by 6.6%.

Chocolate is imported to Georgia mainly from Russia.

TOP Countries By Chocolate Imports To Georgia:

Russia - $25.5 million, 8,145 tons;

Ukraine - $14.8 million, 3,020 tons;

Turkey - $11.4 million, 2,148 tons;

Poland - $6.7 million, 1,160 tons;

Croatia - $6.6 million, 1,135 tons;

Belgium - $4 million, 711 tons;

Italy - $3.2 million, 643 tons;

Germany - $3.2 million, 573 tons;

Armenia - $3.2 million, 533 tons;

Netherlands - $3 million, 528 tons.

Georgia also purchased small quantities of chocolate and cocoa-containing ready-to-eat products from Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Belarus, Spain, France, the Czech Republic, Turkmenistan and other countries.
