The first part of the questionnaire handed over by the EU has been completed by Georgia and the government will submit it to the European Commission on Monday. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili stated about it.
"The first part of the questionnaire was completed with the very active involvement of all government agencies, a lot of work has been done and the Government of Georgia will hand over the first part of the questionnaire to the European Commission on Monday, which was handed over for to us for processing.
As for the last part, the sector part, which is more technical and specific, there are about 2300 questions in this document. All government agencies have started working on this document," - Darchiashvili said.
According to him, the deadline for sharing this document with the European partners is May 13.
The government has also decided to publish the second part of the questionnaire like the first part, however, the government does not intend to make the answers public.
"As for the answers, there are issues that are not desirable to make public," Darchiashvili said.
