Georgia expects a record grape harvest this year, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said, adding that the government is prepared in advance, including for potential subsidies.
“According to preliminary forecasts, we will have a record harvest this year. Last year also ended with very high figures, but this year the result will be absolutely record-breaking,” Kobakhidze told journalists.
He said the government has already prepared for the expected harvest, including measures related to subsidies, and that the harvest season will be well organized.
According to Kobakhidze, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture has been working in advance to ensure that all necessary preparations are completed and the harvest is managed effectively.
