Georgia Hotel Prices Rise 7% in August - PMC

Hotel prices in Georgia increased by 7% year-on-year in August 2026, while the hotel price index rose by 2.3% from July, according to a study by PMC Research.

The highest annual increases were recorded in Imereti at 15%, Racha at 13%, and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti at 12.8%.

Average hotel prices in August were GEL 134 for family hotels, GEL 203 for three-star hotels, GEL 298 for four-star hotels, and GEL 598 for five-star hotels. Among five-star hotels, the highest average prices were recorded in Guria at GEL 1,081, Kakheti at GEL 684, and Tbilisi at GEL 668.

The study is based on an analysis of standard double-room prices at 568 three-, four- and five-star hotels and 371 family hotels listed on Booking.com.
