In January-July 2023, imports of oil bitumen amounted to 61.1 thousand tons, which is 11.1 thousand tons or 22.2% more compared to the same period in 2022 (50.0 thousand tons), the Union of Oil Products Importers said Monday.
For 7 months of 2023, the bulk volume of oil bitumen imports was carried out from Russia - 27.1 thousand tons, which is 44.4% of all imports. It was followed by: Iraq - 19.4 thousand tons (31.7%); Türkiye - 13.1 thousand tons (21.4%); Azerbaijan - 1.4 thousand tons (2.3%); Turkmenistan - 0.1 thousand tons (0.2%);
During the reporting period, imports of liquefied natural gas (LPG) amounted to 31.50 thousand tons, which is 9.66 thousand tons or 44.2% more than the same period last year (21.84 thousand tons).
In January-July period 99.6% (31.36 thousand tons) of liquefied natural gas (LPG) imports were made from the Russian Federation.
