Ani Alibegashvili, the founder of Step Inn Hotel, located in Kazbegi declares, that unfortunately, Georgia will gradually be included in the list of countries in the category of Belarus, where no one wants to travel.

"Just as we don't want to spend holidays in Belarus, no matter how beautiful nature it has, perhaps Georgia will also be included in this category of countries," Alibegashvili said.

According to her, the number of high-income tourists in Kazbegi is decreasing more and more, and this is clear for the people involved in the tourism business.

"Unfortunately, recently, Georgia is becoming less attractive for European tourists due to the political position of our country. The tourism department must get more active and Georgia should be actively promoted", says the founder of the hotel.

In the second half of July and August, the occupancy of Step Inn Hotel was about 85%. The vacationers were mainly from European countries, Germany and Poland.

Step Inn Hotel is located in Kazbegi, Stepantsminda, in which foreign investment of EUR 2 million has been invested.
