Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili has expressed readiness to expand the level of bilateral cooperation with Armenia. She made this statement during a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, commenting on the January 26, 2024, agreement establishing a strategic partnership between the two countries.
According to the Georgian minister, the relationship, level of partnership, and friendship between Yerevan and Tbilisi have existed for centuries. "Today, we are deepening these ties even further and leading them into the future. We are very pleased to call this a strategic partnership. It holds great potential for further expanding the scope and content of cooperation in various fields," Bochorishvili noted.
She added that both sides will work to strengthen the partnership to better represent regional interests in the international arena. "The cooperation between Armenia and Georgia is built on a solid and fundamental foundation across various sectors. We are ready to achieve more, expand, and enrich these relations and the level of our strategic partnership," the Georgian Foreign Minister emphasized.
It is worth noting that on January 26, 2024, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili signed a strategic partnership agreement between the two countries in Tbilisi.
