GD Minister of Health Mikheil Sarjveladze stated that Georgia is achieving excellent results in the direction of European integration. He made the remarks during a press conference following a government session, in response to questions about a potential suspension of the EU visa-free regime.
“I believe that, if we analyze the current situation, Georgia is doing everything possible to ensure rapid progress toward European integration. We are fully following the Association Agenda, which positions Georgia to be among the most prepared candidate countries when the next EU enlargement wave occurs.
Today, Georgia demonstrates very strong indicators in European integration, particularly in areas crucial for EU alignment, such as the rule of law and anti-corruption measures. Unfortunately, there are individuals, including some European bureaucrats, who may not acknowledge this progress. However, this does not hinder Georgia from continuing its integration path,” said Sarjveladze.
