Georgia unconditionally supports Armenia's territorial integrity. This was stated by the prime minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, at a joint press conference with the prime minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, on March 25 in Yerevan.

"I have, of course, expressed my gratitude to my colleague prime minister Pashinyan, who supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia. I, of course, unconditionally support the territorial integrity of Armenia," said the prime minister of Georgia.

According to Kobakhidze, Georgia also supports efforts to establish stability and peace in the South Caucasus.

"I emphasized the importance of joint efforts so that we can address the challenges in the region. We really hope that a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be signed. Georgia is ready to support this process," he noted.

It is worth reminding that Armenia and Azerbaijan have been negotiating the signing of a peace treaty since the Second Karabakh War in 2020. Although mediators have repeatedly stated the possibility of reaching a comprehensive peace agreement, periodic escalations on the border of the two countries serve as a reminder of how unstable the situation remains.
