Georgia is expected to rank among the world’s fastest-growing economies between 2025 and 2030, Deputy Economy Minister Vakhtang Tsintsadze announced. He said international financial institutions view Georgia’s economic policy as consistent, balanced and supported by healthy macroeconomic fundamentals.

Tsintsadze noted strong sectoral diversification, with rapid growth in information and communications, transport and logistics, areas that strengthen Georgia’s role in global supply chains. The IMF has raised its 2025 forecast for Georgia, projecting 7.3% growth.

According to the ministry, Georgia achieved record export performance in the first 11 months of 2025, surpassing USD 6.6 billion, with November exports alone up 44%. Services exports also continue to rise, led by transport, IT services and tourism.

The minister highlighted major upcoming investments, including the Eagle Hills development, the new Tbilisi airport, the Anaklia deep-sea port and the Black Sea underwater cable. He said these infrastructure projects will drive job creation and attract substantial foreign investment.

Tsintsadze predicts the next four years will be “active and successful” for capital inflows, emphasizing that Georgia’s economic indicators confidently signal growth to both local and international investors.
