Our policy is aimed at Georgia being a free, independent, sovereign state, and no one will be given the opportunity to use our country, - Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, told the media.
According to Kakha Kaladze, no one will be allowed to organize a second front in Georgia or to involve the country in sanctions and this will lead to an economic crisis.
"There is nothing new in the statements we hear. This is a continuation of everything we've been talking about. It's very simple here. First, regarding the topic of candidate status, there were direct calls that the country did not deserve the candidate status, while with all the data, with all the criteria, we were much ahead compared to the countries that were given the status and Georgia was oppressed, although this is also clear to the public, why all this was happening. For them, the government of Georgia is unacceptable, because we do not give anyone the opportunity to misuse the interests of Georgia, to be a second front in the country, to face the conflict and the trouble that, unfortunately, is in Ukraine. We will not give this opportunity to anyone," said Kakha Kaladze.
