The Georgian national team has returned to the homeland from the debut European Championship. The football players were greeted with applause by the fans at Tbilisi International Airport. The fans chanted: "Thank you."
Supporters arrived at the airport in the morning with flags and team shirts.
At 22:00, a welcoming event will be held at the Freedom Square.
Before that, at 9:30 p.m., the football team members will begin marching from Mikheil Meskhi Stadium to Freedom Square via open-top bus; at 10:00 p.m., attendees assemble in Freedom Square to greet the players and sing the national anthem.
