Georgian officials have expressed solidarity with Austria in the aftermath of a deadly terrorist attack in the capital Vienna last night that killed at least four people and injured 17.
Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia posted on his Twitter account that Georgia stands in solidarity with Austria and the world in the fight against terrorism.
Georgia’s President Salome Zourabichvili also posted on Twitter stating that this type of violence is unacceptable. “We must stand together against this radical violence” – Zourabichvili twitted.
Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs David Zalkaliani also posted on Twitter that he is devastated by the news about the terror attack in Vienna stressing that terrorism and violation must be defeated with joint efforts.
