The Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) has announced a GEL 5.42 million electronic tender to purchase steel pipes required for main gas pipeline construction and rehabilitation projects.
According to the State Procurement Agency, the tender was launched on August 4, with bids accepted from August 29 to September 3. The purchase includes factory-insulated steel pipes of various diameters, with the largest share consisting of 21,216 meters of DN300 pipes, along with DN200, DN150, and DN100 pipes.
The pipes must comply with international standards, including API 5L and ISO 3183, while insulation must meet relevant EN, ISO, or equivalent requirements. The products must be new, unused, and pass quality inspections in accordance with EN10204:2004 (3.2) standards.
Tender participants must demonstrate experience in supplying materials for pipeline construction or rehabilitation projects worth at least GEL 1.08 million since January 2020. The bid security requirement is set at GEL 54,201, valid for 160 days.
