The Georgian State Security Service will allocate GEL 40,000 to boost the popularity of its official Facebook page.
The procurement was announced in a simplified manner after the First Deputy Head of the Georgian State Security Service, Lasha Maghradze, requested approval from the State Procurement Agency on September 13.
The agency emphasized that Facebook remains the leading social network in Georgia, offering unmatched audience reach, user targeting, and technical capabilities.
“All of the above components represent an extremely important element… Therefore, Facebook should be considered as having exclusive authority to provide advertising services,” the Georgian State Security Service said.
