The document emphasizes that the German coalition supports pro-European forces in Georgia and that the continuation of Georgia's EU accession process depends on the protection of democratic processes in the country.
"The continuation of Georgia's accession process can only be discussed when there are no more doubts about the protection of democratic processes. We support pro-European forces," the coalition agreement states.
In addition, the document notes that the EU's enlargement policy is a geopolitical necessity and the significantly changed global situation requires further development of the EU accession process.
