According to Irakli Lekvinadze, the country maintains good economic growth and a low inflation rate, which was due to the correct policy of the state.
The chairman of the National Competition Agency says that in the first six months, positive trends can be observed in terms of the exports and imports in the country, and there are also impressive numbers related to the tourist season.
"Georgia's economy is developing dynamically in the first six months of 2023 - one of the reasons for this is the peaceful and stable environment that exists in our country.
Our country has very impressive indicators in terms of macroeconomic parameters. In particular, I mean - the rate of economic growth, which is up to 8%, and a very low rate of inflation. The right course of the state is important in this, because the prices of many primary consumption products are fixed.
We have a very good indicator in the direction of international trade, including exports-imports, as well as shipments. The tourist season is active and there are quite impressive figures, both in terms of the number of tourists, as well as the money spent by them and their contribution to the country's economy", Lekvinadze said.
