Georgia’s Mobile Operators Generate Record GEL 929 MLN in 2025

Georgians spent a record GEL 929 million on mobile services in 2025, according to the latest report from the Communications Commission. Industry revenue increased by GEL 63 million (+7%) compared to the previous year, driven by growth in both subscriber numbers and average monthly spending.

The number of active mobile SIM cards reached 5.9 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 276,903 users. Magti, Silknet and Cellfie continued to dominate the sector, with Magti maintaining the largest market share.

In 2025, operator revenues were as follows: Magti – GEL 437.1 million (2.45 million subscribers, 41.4% market share, +6.6%); Silknet – GEL 325 million (2.12 million subscribers, 35.9% share, +6.7%); Cellfie – GEL 164.5 million (1.34 million subscribers, 22.7% share, +10.5%). All operators saw an increase in ARPU, with Cellfie recording the strongest growth. Monthly ARPU reached GEL 15.51 for Magti, GEL 13.33 for Silknet and GEL 10.93 for Cellfie.

Mobile internet usage also continued to rise. By December 2025, 76% of subscribers—4.49 million users—were active mobile internet customers, up from 70.2% a year earlier. Average monthly data consumption reached 18.66 GB per user, a year-on-year increase of 3.2 GB.
