Georgia exported 52,419 tons of natural grape wine worth $163.6 million in the first eight months of 2026. Export value declined by 1.1% year-on-year, while export volume fell by 6.8%.
Russia remained Georgia’s largest wine export market, accounting for $102.2 million and 34,898 tons. Poland followed with $10.7 million (4,092 tons), Ukraine with $7.5 million (2,714 tons), and China with $6.3 million (2,149 tons).
Other major destinations included Kazakhstan with $5 million, Germany with $4.9 million, Belarus with $4.2 million, the United States with $3.6 million, Latvia with $3.3 million, and Turkey with $2.3 million.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s exports of alcoholic beverages also declined during the period, with the value of spirits exports falling by 12.3%.
