Erekle Kokaia, CEO of Inn Group declares, that despite the events taking place in the country, the hotel is loaded with 60%. He spoke to BM.GE about this and predicted an increase in occupancy rate for the summer.
According to him, at the moment, corporate bookings have decreased, but individual bookings are up.
“It is difficult to make a forecast for the year, because Gori Inn is mainly in demand among Georgian customers. Corporate bookings have decreased, while individual bookings are up. In Gori, we are loaded with 55-60% this month. We hope that the occupancy rate will increase in summer,” Kokaia said.
In addition, according to Kokaia, the festive space "Circus", adjacent to the "Gori Inn" hotel, which was launched in October 2023, is planning to be reorganized this year.
As Erekle Kokaia said, the events taking place in the country have affected the restaurant sector the most. Therefore, if the situation does not change, in order to save resources, it is planned to reduce the working hours of the restaurant space. However, this restriction will not apply to corporate bookings.
"Reorganization is planned in the near future, and if the situation in the country does not change, it is planned to reduce the working hours of the restaurant," - said the executive director of Inn Group, adding that the development of this facility is not planned at this stage.
"Gori Inn" is a chain of hotels managed by Inn Group. More than 20 million GEL was invested in the construction of the hotel. The investment has been made and includes a total of 120 rooms. As for the "Circus", it was launched in 2023. The space covers 600 sq.m. and is designed for 500 persons.
