Gori Inn will host a three-day festival, “Vashlifest” (Apple Fest), on October 30–November 1 in the hotel’s courtyard. Admission will be free.
Hotel owner Erekle Kokaia told BMG that the festival is being held for the first time, with the organizers hoping to make it an annual event. Inspired by Oktoberfest, the initiative aims to support local small and medium-sized businesses and promote tourism in the Shida Kartli region.
The festival will feature 14 stalls showcasing local farmers, producers and artisans. Visitors will be able to sample apple-based specialties, including apple fritters, apple pies and apple cider, as well as explore handmade products and accessories.
The program will also include children’s activities, entertainers, games, photo areas and a small farm. All revenue from product sales will go directly to the participating businesses.
