Georgia’s Central Procurement Agency has announced a consolidated tender to purchase 242 new pickup trucks for 12 government agencies and organizations. The estimated total cost is GEL 21.8 million, averaging approximately GEL 90,031 per vehicle.
The largest allocations are for the Ministry of Defence, which will receive 113 pickups, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which will receive 100. The remaining 29 vehicles will be distributed among the Adjara Forestry Agency, local municipalities and other public organizations.
The vehicles must be new, manufactured no earlier than 2026, left-hand drive and equipped with four-wheel drive. Technical requirements include a minimum 102-horsepower engine, a manual transmission with at least five gears, airbags, ABS and air conditioning. Black vehicles are excluded.
The tender requires a five-year warranty for major components, including the engine, axles and transmission, and a three-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty for the vehicle as a whole. Suppliers may offer upgraded features, including automatic transmissions or hybrid models, but these will not provide additional advantages in the evaluation. Bids will be accepted from October 26 until 12:30 p.m. on October 27, 2026.
