Gov't, Construction Industry to Discuss Infrastructure Reforms

The Georgian government and the Infrastructure Construction Companies Association (ICCA) will hold a public-private working meeting today to discuss ongoing reforms and the implementation of new regulations in the country's infrastructure sector.

Held under the theme "A New Vision for Infrastructure: Reforms and Implementation," the meeting will focus on legislative and systemic changes introduced in 2026. Key topics include the new price indexation framework, recommended market prices for construction materials, labor, machinery, and transport services used in public procurement, as well as the implementation of government Resolution No. 241, which came into force on June 1.

The event will bring together senior government officials and industry representatives, including Infrastructure Minister Revaz Sokhadze, Government Administration Head Levan Zhorzholiani, and ICCA Executive Director Irakli Giorgobiani. The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi.
