Funding allocated to municipalities under Georgia’s state disaster prevention program has increased to GEL 17.83 million, with an additional GEL 3.99 million allocated to 28 municipalities from the Regional Projects Fund.
The change was introduced under Government Resolution No. 2170, amending Resolution No. 1137 of May 29. The number of municipalities covered by the program has increased by six.
Funding for Dedoplistskaro has been raised to up to GEL 500,000, from GEL 147,547, while Dmanisi Municipality will receive up to GEL 240,541.
The six municipalities newly added to the program are Ambrolauri, with up to GEL 555,000; Oni, GEL 500,000; Lentekhi, GEL 500,000; Tsageri, GEL 500,460; Telavi, GEL 1 million; and Sagarejo, GEL 484,154.
