The Georgian government received GEL 113.3 million from privatization in the first six months of 2026, reaching 110% of the planned target, according to the six-month budget execution report published by the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance.
The largest share came from the privatization of fixed assets, which generated GEL 81.5 million, exceeding the plan by 8.6%. Revenue from land privatization amounted to GEL 6 million, or 55% of the target.
The privatization-related revenues also include fees paid by mobile operators for 5G radio frequency spectrum licenses. In the first half of 2026, these payments totaled GEL 25.7 million, exceeding the planned amount by 51.3%.
