The Georgian government has granted international company status to two businesses, Technological Standard and Big Click, under decrees issued by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
Technological Standard, registered in May 2025, is wholly owned by Career Free Institute. The institute’s shareholders include Besarion Bajelidze (20%), Akaki Dumbadze (10%), Koba Mzhavanadze (5%), Levan Mzhavanadze (15%) and US citizen Igor Evdakimov (50%). Big Click, registered in 2022, is owned by Georgian-US dual citizen Ana Agladze.
Georgia introduced international company status in late 2020 for eligible businesses in the IT and maritime sectors that provide services abroad from Georgia or conduct international maritime transport. Beneficiaries receive tax incentives, including a 5% personal income tax rate on employment income earned through an international company and a 5% corporate profit tax rate.
To qualify, a Georgian enterprise must generally have at least two years of experience in an eligible activity. Alternatively, it may qualify through a non-resident parent company or majority shareholder that meets the same experience requirement.
