Georgia’s government, through the newly established Central Procurement Agency, has announced a new large-scale tender for the purchase of 164 hybrid vehicles, with an estimated value of GEL 10.16 million, averaging around GEL 61,950 per vehicle.

The tender is part of a broader procurement push, as on June 22 the same agency also launched four additional tenders covering 592 vehicles worth GEL 47 million, indicating a significant wave of state fleet expansion.

Under the new 164-vehicle tender, the largest share will go to the Revenue Service (85 vehicles), followed by the Ministry of Defense (29 vehicles), the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau (10 vehicles), and the National Food Agency (10 vehicles).

The procurement requires that all vehicles be manufactured in 2026, and participating companies must provide documentation proving official dealership status and after-sales service capabilities, including warranty coverage for up to 150,000 kilometers. Bid submissions will be accepted on July 1–2.
