Galt&Taggart has raised its forecast for Georgia’s tourism revenue in 2025 to USD 4.6 billion, up from the previously projected USD 4.5 billion, reflecting stronger performance in the sector during the first nine months of the year.
According to the National Bank of Georgia, tourism revenues in the third quarter of 2025 reached USD 1.7 billion, marking a 6.6% year-on-year increase. From January to September 2025, total tourism income amounted to USD 3.6 billion, up 5.1% compared to the same period last year.
In its Weekly Investment Review, Galt & Taggart highlighted that the upward revision is based on actual data from the first nine months of 2025.
“Based on actual data for the first nine months of 2025, we forecast that tourism receipts will reach USD 4.6 billion in 2025,” the report states.
Tourism continues to play a key role in Georgia’s economy, contributing to foreign exchange inflows, employment, and broader economic growth. The sector’s steady recovery and diversification of visitor markets are expected to further strengthen its impact in the coming year.
