“Dozens of reservations have already been canceled and we expect more to be canceled if the situation is not resolved in time," Valeri Chekheria, CEO of Adjara Group, told BM.GE.
According to Chekheria, the guests of Hotel Rooms Kokhta want to receive information on water supply and in case we do not have water, they demand cancellation.
“We also have problems related to water supply and as a result, guests leave the hotel and cancel their reservations. Dozens of reservations have already been canceled, and we expect more to be canceled if the situation is not resolved in time. Our future guests call us and tell that if the water supply problem is not resolved immediately, they will not come. We are sorry for the visitors to have such discomfort,” says Adjara Group Executive Director.
According to him, if the water supply is not restored, it will affect their hotel as well as the whole Bakuriani.
"We are trying to buy large quantities of water and have additional reserves, but the water is no longer available for the second day and we are more burdened to deal with this situation. This will not only affect the reputation of our newly opened hotel but the whole resort as well," Valeri Chekheria said.
Asked by BM.GE if they had received a warning from United Water Supply Company, Valeri Chekheria said they had not received any notification about water restriction.
