Mikheil Khidureli, head Of Agency "Enterprise Georgia", positively considers cooperation with donors, but refrains from evaluating the "Russian law". Khidureli says that "it would be more correct if the legislators evaluate it".

"I evaluate cooperation with all international organizations positively. I will tell you more, we go to Washington twice a year, where we have a meeting with the USAID leadership and go through these issues. Therefore, our cooperation has always been exemplary and I am sure it will continue. As for the questions about the law itself, it would be more correct to ask the legislators, we can only positively evaluate all the international organizations with which we cooperate", said Mikheil Khidureli.

Agency Enterprise Georgia implements several projects with the financial support of USAID.

Georgian Dream approved the Russian Law in its first reading on April 17, which classifies media and non-governmental organizations that are financially independent from the government as Foreign Agents. The European Union, the US State Department, the United Nations, and international organizations have urged the Georgian authorities not to enact a law that contradicts the values of the European Union and poses a threat to the freedom and existence of the media and the civil sector.
