Nino Papunashvili, general manager of Hotel "Arge" declares, that the hotel will complete the infrastructural renovation in a month.
"We renovated the old winery. In addition, we will have a new restaurant space. Since it used to be a winery, we are inspired by wine.
We invested a total of USD 0.5 million to fully equip the tourist facility. Accommodation in the hotel starts from GEL 140 per night in the low season, and in the high season, its price is determined from GEL 270," says Papunashvili.
The manager also talks about the challenges and notes that reservations are still the problem. According to her, there is a lack of tourists in the country and Kakheti is paralyzed in the off-season.
As for the number of employees, there are about 30 locals employed in the hotel, and their number changes depending on the season.
Hotel "Arge" has been operating since 2018 in Ruispiri village. In the place of the hotel, a winery has been operating since 1998, which was renovated. The complex combines a restaurant space, a hotel, a wine cellar and a conference hall. In addition, customers can taste Georgian traditional dishes, chacha and Georgian wine.
