Hotel prices in Georgia decreased in September 2025, with the overall index dropping 9% compared to the previous month, according to the PMC Research Center. Average prices stood at 111 GEL for family-type hotels, 163 GEL for 3-star hotels, and 254 GEL for 4-star hotels.
The average price of 5-star hotels reached 440 GEL. The most expensive regions were Kakheti (592 GEL), Tbilisi (569 GEL), and Guria (504 GEL). By contrast, prices were lower in other regions, reflecting significant variation across the country.
Compared to the previous year, the hotel price index for 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels declined by 3% in September, while family-type hotels saw a modest 0.4% increase. Overall, prices fell 1.8% year-on-year, with the sharpest decreases recorded in Adjara, Tbilisi, and Kakheti.
The research methodology is based on monitoring standard double-room prices across 571 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels and 368 family-type hotels listed on booking.com in 10 regions of Georgia and Tbilisi. Average prices are calculated using available hotels in the reporting month.
