Lasha Papashvili, founder of developer company "Redix" says that the company is implementing three projects in Abastumani worth of USD 60 million, of which the investment value of "Agobili" project amounts to USD 30 million, while "Samepo Abanoebi" - USD 15 million and family hotel Vardzia - USD 15 million.
Lasha Papashvili deeply hopes that international tourists will be interested in the new tourist destination.
"I hope that tourists will come to my property if there are no political battles again and nothing bad happens. Because we have already started marketing in a narrow niche segment. We have offers on detox programs, this is wellness tourism, which is in high demand after the pandemic. There is a pine forest in Abastumani and it is very valuable after COVID, so tourists will definitely come," Papashvili said.
As company Redix notes, the opening date of the complex has been delayed until the fall of 2024 instead of spring. According to the developer company, hotel Agobili starts operating under the brand Doubletree by Hilton.
The development company "Redix" has been managing several projects in the hospitality sector in different regions of Georgia for years, including: "Kabadoni" in Sighnaghi; "Le Port" in Batumi; "Samzeo" in Tusheti.
